 (Pseudosasa japonica) An evergreen bamboo with large leaves and many canes creating very dense growth. Does well in most conditions.Grows to three meters planted in the ground or two to three meters when potted. But can be pruned down to any height. This bamboo has the most vigour and spread of all our bamboo it's great for fast screening but root barrier is recommended if access for maintenance is limited.

Understanding Sizes

Displaying the size of the bamboo can be confusing, there are two sizes to be aware of, the size we deliver to you, and the size the bamboo grows to. The size shown by the 'Add to basket' button, is the size we deliver to you, this is what will arrive on your doorstep. For example if the size states [18 litre pot, 1.8m tall - £49.95 you will receive a lovely bamboo plant in a 18 litre pot measuring at least 1.8m above the pot, and it will cost £49.95. 

The 'other' height, the height the bamboo will grow to, is shown in the bamboo description.

Also the physical size of the pots the bamboo comes in can be confusing an 18 litre pot is 30cm x 26cm which is roughly the size of a bucket.

Each order comes with a care sheet and complimentary Bamboo fertilizer.

UK mainland delivery is £19.95 per order

 If you would like a specific day for delivery please let us know, (we can deliver Tuesday to Friday).

Please bear in mind you do not have to be in when the order arrives as the carriers will not require a signature. But the carriers will only leave the order at the property if no one is in if they feel it is safe to do so.
