Stripped Bamboo

Stripped Bamboo | Bamboo Giant

We have a lot of enquiries from customers who send us this image from pinterest asking how to achieve this stripped effect.

Most bamboo can be stripped like this but the Golden Crookstem and the Bisset Bamboo really do lend themselves to this form due to the their strong upright canes. The process is simple enough, trim off the lower branches of the canes and remove older thinner canes, it's quick and easy work. If you start with our taller bamboo in the most mature sizes you can expect to create this effect in 2-3 years.
